Jack is a published author, and writes regularly for Gramophone Magazine.
Jack's debut book, 'Raising The Roof: A Dazzling History Of Classical Music', is a vibrant and accessible introduction to classical music, with illustrations by Michele Bruttomesso. Published by Templar / Bonnier Books, it was released in hardback in June 2024 and the paperback edition will be released in Autumn 2025.

Jack is a contributor to Gramophone, including curating their 2022/23, 23/24 and 24/25 Season Previews and writing their official tribute to
HM Queen Elizabeth II. He writes features and curates playlists for their website.
